Welcome to Creative Matakana
All classes—except for the Gibbs Farm visit and food classes, which are booked by the day—will run from Monday to Friday, with times depending on the class activities.
Creative Matakana begins on Sunday, 7 May 2017 with a welcome function at the Vivian Gallery from 5pm to 8pm. You will be able to register and receive your information pack there. The function is sponsored by Bayleys Matakana.
You can also register on Monday, 8 May from 8am, at the Matakana Cinema in the centre of the village
Class participants and tutors are invited to gather after classes every evening at The Vintry, in the cinema complex—an opportunity to meet those on other courses.
Next door, Matakana Market Kitchen will have a specially priced daily dinner menu.
On Thursday, 11 May, a course dinner will be held at The Glass House at Brick Bay. Attendance is optional. As seating is limited, if you would like to come, book for the dinner when you register.
Course fees include GST, and some have an extra charge for materials.
The organisers retain the right to cancel courses, and, in the event of cancellation, they would refund the fees in full. Notification of cancellations will be made by April 8.
If you cancel before April 8, we will refund your fees less an administration cost of $15.00. We will not refund fees for cancellations after this date except in special circumstances. You must make your application in writing.
Tea and coffee will be provided and lunches will be available at a reasonable price.
Order forms for lunches will be included in your registration pack and you must submit your order the previous evening.
